In-Class CIP Courses
The Insurance Institute of BC offers many CIP courses in an evening class setting.
Courses include
approximately 27 hours of instruction. During the term, students will complete assignments, quizzes,
and a mid-term examination, which are combined in
a final term mark. A student's final course grade
is based on a combination of the
term mark and the final examination mark.
Depending upon the number of students and the availability of instructors, not all courses
will be offered
in-class in all locations.
Distance Learning
In-class students will be marked as follows:
| Instructor's mid-term examination |
60 marks |
|
Instructor's assessment (based on participation, assignments, tests, and attendance)
|
40 marks |
| Final Exam |
200 marks |
| TOTAL |
300
marks |
