CIP IN-CLASS PROGRAM 2007 - 2008

REGISTRATION PROCEDURE AND FEE STRUCTURE

 

Read fully before completing Registration Form

1. All Students must be current members of the Institute. If not current, add $60.00 (includes GST) to your registration form. The membership term runs June 1 - May 31 each year for every member. The membership fee is non-refundable and not pro-rated.

 

2. Please refer to fee schedule for breakdown.  If you are taking C11 as your first course, a one-time administration fee is already included in the C11 course fee to cover the cost of creating the student database - this is a separate fee from the annual membership fee. 

3. Course C11 - Principles and Practice must be taken as one of your first four courses. Additional courses may be taken concurrently with Principles and Practice. Course C16 - must be one of the last three courses taken (7 successes at time of registration) - refer to the CIP Syllabus for the suggested order of courses.

 

4.  Registration commences November 5, 2008 for the Winter 2008 session and will be on a first come basis. Registration will be closed as the maximum for each class is reached and the registration deadline.  The Institute reserves the right to withdraw any class due to insufficient enrolment.  Registration is by a fully completed Registration Form.  Each registration must be accompanied by the course fee in full, payable to: The Insurance Institute of BC or with full credit card details.  (Credit Card details may be phoned in to us at the contact numbers given below - must fax your form first). Late submissions, if accepted, will be subject to an administration fee of $55.00(incl GST)

All fees shown are inclusive of GST (# 12751 7258 RT). Visa, MasterCard and Debit facilities are available.

5. Requests for cancellation or withdrawal from any course must be in writingTHE IN-CLASS RECEIPT MUST BE RETURNED.  Approved cancellation will be subject to a $55.00 withdrawal fee and course text charge.  No refunds for withdrawal or cancellation will be permitted unless notification to The Insurance Institute of BC is received

6. It is the students responsibility to ensure that examination dates do not conflict with any courses selected.

7. Courses are taught at several locations in the lower mainland, Victoria, Nanaimo, Duncan and Kelowna. See schedule for specific addresses, times and room numbers.
